I am so excited for this book to come out. It is #2 in my Into the End series. Through the Flames. I have been beaten and left for dead writing this thing and I hope when you get a chance to read it, you'll be as affected as me. But better.
I'm dealing with a ton of changes right now that apply to my writing world and everything else.
Baby is almost here - have 14 weeks left and yes, that's not nearly enough time.
Fatigue seems to be my new besty! Grr. I always have some level of fatigue, but this new level is unreal!
Work has opted on using a new platform and since I've started that it takes me three times as long to get my work done - this is frustrating since I get paid on production and not by the hour.
My 2-year-old doesn't like to leave my side - oh, wait, this isn't a change. This has been the case since he was born. Can't get rid of him lol. He literally freaks when I leave the room. This makes it very hard for me to take baths or relax when he is up. Any advice?
I've chosen to change up the release dates of my upcoming books - Through the Flames (#2 of Into the End) will still come out in a few weeks, but instead of releasing the second book of the Barely Alive series, I'm going to finish the Into the End trilogy first as well as release the novella of that series. Then, once that is done, I will complete the Barely Alive series - this makes it easier on my brain so I'm not story hopping and can fly through the series.
While so many are saying the recession is over, I'm feeling it now more than ever. I hope everyone else who is having difficulties with the economy has a respite soon.
My son turns 8 this weekend. My first born. He will baptized in July, but before that, he joins Cub Scouts and all kinds of things. I'm kind of freaking out a bit. *Tear*
My CPs have upped their games which is awesome. We are all cranking out the word count and pushing each other as hard as we can. Woot!
I think that's all that's going on right now besides the normal daily hoopla. What's going on in your neck of the woods? Do you have any hurdles holding you back or any nitro pushing you forward?
